The Black Guillotine is a massive double-headed battleaxe of brutal make, its twin blades broad and heavy enough to cleave armor and bone in a single stroke.

Fragments of old forge records claim the weapon was quenched within a HollowLight Well during its making, the metal drinking in the black radiance before it cooled.

Since then, the axe has carried an unnatural weight and presence, as though something within the blade still stirs.

Some who have examined the weapon believe the metal is not entirely metal at all.

They claim the twin blades are partly formed from condensed HollowLight itself — hardened into a weapon meant only for severing.
