Pilgrim's Ash Draught
common • con • 18/25
A harsh drink carried by travelers of the Hollowpaths.
Pilgrim’s Ash Draught is brewed from the ashes of fallen pilgrims, gathered from roadside pyres and cremation fires along the long roads of AshenReach. The faithful believe that by drinking the ashes of those who walked before them, they inherit a fragment of their endurance.
The draught burns the throat and settles like cinders in the stomach, yet it grants weary travelers the strength to rise and continue their journey.
Among the pilgrims, it is said that no road is truly walked alone — for every cup carries the remains of those who failed to finish the path.
