Carrion Basilisk

Carrion Basilisks are grave-burrowing wyrms that haunt the old burial fields and collapsed catacombs of AshenReach.

These creatures move through soil and bone with unsettling ease, tunneling beneath forgotten graves in search of carrion. When food grows scarce, they turn upon their own kind, devouring weaker basilisks to survive the long rot of the ruins.

Their presence is often marked by disturbed earth, split coffins, and the low tremor of something large moving beneath the ground.

Where the dead are left to decay in silence, the Carrion Basilisk is rarely far below.
