Wayweft Thread appears as a simple ball of pale woven filament, though its strands are said to be drawn from older forces that bind the paths of AshenReach together.

When cast upon the ground, the thread begins to unravel on its own, weaving across stone and ash to reveal the safest passage forward. Carriers follow its line through ruins, battlefields, and Hollowpaths where ordinary direction fails.

Yet the thread does more than guide.

At times it unspools in patterns that reveal the bearer’s truest desire, tracing paths that do not yet exist. Some Archivists claim the Wayweft does not merely show the path ahead…

but quietly alters it.
