Mire-Sting Wasps swarm the stagnant marshes and drowned ruins of AshenReach, nesting in hollow reeds, rotted trees, and abandoned watchtowers swallowed by the mire.

Their long barbed stingers carry a slow, burning venom that weakens prey before the swarm descends. Travelers who disturb a nest rarely escape the marsh before the poison takes hold.

The wasps feed on whatever the wetlands claim — beasts, pilgrims, and the many corpses that drift through the black water.

In the deeper bogs of AshenReach, the Mire-Sting Wasp is less a creature than a warning: where the air hums with their wings, the mire itself is already hungry.
