Darkhammer is a colossal greatsword forged from a single slab of marred iron.

The blade is immense even by the standards of AshenReach — thick, chipped, and brutally heavy, more like a sharpened iron monolith than a conventional weapon. Its surface is carved with ancient runes and worn glyphs whose meaning has long been forgotten.

No known warrior has been able to wield the blade with any measure of control.

Yet the Ashenborne Knight carries it as though the impossible weight were nothing.

Some Archivists believe the weapon is bound to the Knight alone. Others claim the blade itself chooses its bearer.
