Gravelight Bearers wander the ash roads of AshenReach carrying lanterns filled with Gravelight — a cold funerary flame drawn from ash and memory. The light offers no warmth. It reveals only what death has left behind.
Where Gravelight burns, forgotten graves stir and abandoned battlefields remember themselves.
The Bearers move quietly between ruins and burial grounds, tending places where the fallen were never properly laid to rest. Some claim they guide lost spirits. Others believe they keep watch for something far worse.
No record names their origin.
Yet wherever the dead gather in great number…
