The Hollowed are pilgrims who followed the Hollowpaths too far.

Drawn by the promise of HollowLight, these wanderers sought the strange black radiance said to gather in the deepest fractures of AshenReach. Some came searching for revelation. Others sought the power whispered to lie within the light itself.

Few understood the cost.

Prolonged exposure twists both mind and body. Pilgrims who once walked the roads with lantern and staff become hollow vessels, driven only by the desperate need to return to the wells of black light that first consumed them.

Across the ruins, the Hollowed drift like lost shadows — pilgrims who found the light they sought, and could never leave it behind.
